10 major signs of doomsday

Nobody knows when it is the TIME precisely….even the Prophet…

One day when Gabriel came to the Prophet asked about when the Doomsday, the Prophet replied “Whom was asked about the Day of Judgement is no more aware of who to ask." (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim).

However ALLAH gives the hints about that day….in this post I will only share about the major signs and hopefully next post I will do the minor signs that some already happens in this day...

There are 10 major signs of doomsday…

Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) said "It will not happen today so that you saw earlier doomsday ten kinds of signs." Then he mentioned it: "Smoke, Dajjal, the beast, the rising sun from the place of the sinking, falling Isa son of Mary, Gog and Ma'juj, earthquake three times, once in the east, once in the west and the third at the end of the Arabian peninsula once was fire coming out of the country of Yemen that will drive people to their Mahsyar Padang." (Narrated by Muslim)

1. The Smoke will issue

It is purported in the Qur’an:

“Then watch thou for the Day that the sky will bring forth a kind of smoke (or mist) plainly visible.” (Surat Ad-Dukhan : 10).

Furthermore, a hadith states:

“The effect of the Smoke for a Believer will be like catching a cold, while it will be very severe for a disbeliever.” (Narrated by Abu Dawud)

2. Dajjal will come and bring a great slander that make people hesitate about their faith so that many people deceived by his call.

It was stated in a hadith:

“Dajjal will appear and will claim that he is a God. He who believes in his divinity will be a disbeliever.” (Narrated by Ibn Abi Shayba).

3. Dabbat-ul-ard (the beast) will emerge

“Dabbat-ul-ard has four feet like the feet of a camel and wings like a bird. Its head is like the head of an ox. Its ears are like the ears of an elephant. Its tail is like the tail of a ram.”

“And when the World is fulfilled against them (the unjust), We shall produce from the earth a Beast to (face) them: he will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs.” (Surat An-Naml : 82).

4. The sun will rise from the place of sinking

“Doomsday will not come to pass until the sun rises in the west. All people will believe then, but their faith will be of no use to them.” (Narrated by Bukhari, Muslim).

It is purported in the Qur’an Al-Karim:

“…The day that certain of the Signs of thy Lord do come, no good will it do to a soul to believe in them then if it believed not before nor earned righteousness through its Faith. Say: “Wait ye: we too are waiting.” (Surat Al-An’am : 158).

5. The descent of Isa (Jesus) from the sky

It is declared in the Qur’an Al-Karim:

“And (Isa) shall be a Sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgment): therefore have no doubt about the (Hour), but follow ye Me: this is a straight Way.” (Surat Az-Zukhruf : 61).

Also, it is declared in a hadith:

“Isa will descend from the sky as a just judge. He will break the cross (he will wipe out Christianity), kill pigs (he will forbid pork), and prohibit everything other than Islam.” (Narrated by Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Ibn Abi Shayba).

6. The release of Gog and Ma'juj nation who will make mischief on the earth, namely when they triumphed through the wall made ​​of iron mixed with copper which has been established by Zul Qarnain along with his assistants in the past.

It is declared in the Qur’an Al-Karim:

“Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every hill.” (Surat Al-Anbiya : 96).

The hadith stated: “Gog and Magog are one of the first signs of Doomsday.” (Narrated by Ibn Jarir).

It was said in a hadith-i sharif:

“The caving in of the ground will be witnessed: one in the east, one in the west, and one in the Arabian Peninsula.” (Narrated by Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Ibn Maja).

10. Big fire that will dispel the human headed to Padang Mahsyar. The fire started from the direction the country will be Yemen.

The hadith stated: “The fire breaking out in Hejaz will illuminate the necks of the camels in Basra.” (Narrated by Muslim).

Are you still believed of someone who told you that he knows when exactly the end of world will happened?????

My little one said, “Mom, I am so scared. My friends told me that tomorrow is the end of the world.”
“Why should you?” asked me.
“Everybody in America believes that tomorrow is the doomsday. I think we better fly to Africa”
“Why do you think so?”
“Because in the 2012 movie, it is only Africa that save from the doomsday”

I was just smiled and told him that only God knows. I promise to tell him and his siblings what is really the doomsday. The signs that will reveal before it is really happened…

“They ask thee about the (final) Hour-when will be its appointed time? Say:”The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone): none but He can reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy were its burden through the heavens and the earth. Only,all of a sudden will it come to you.” They ask thee as if thou wert eager in search thereof: say: :The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone), but most men know not.” (Al A’raf: 187).

since he is interesting in the topics, I was thinking to find out the truth about it. I don't wanna misleading him, especially in his age..
The surfing thru the cyber space then began…I attempt to find out what is really the right answer….

Counting the bad deeds...

The time when driving the kids to their school is one of my favorite time...
We chat and talk about anything...from games to their friend...
and this is also the time when I teach them a short Al Qur'an surah...

But on Friday I found something interesting...
Dimas said a number...38..
I asked him, "what number is that Dimas?"
He told me, " I try to count my sins starting last month...so anytime I did a bad deeds I count it."
I was like open my mouth til drop... :D
"Why you do that?"
"So I know how much sins that I made...and during the prayer I will ask for forgiveness."

subhanallah..he is still 9 and already bothered about the sins he made...
at home I struggled to remember...how big my number is if I keep counting all my bad deeds...
it is probably more than 10 thousands...astagfirullah...
may Allah forgives me....

Moslem women clothes

Astagfirullah..may ALLAH forgive me what I have done.

I decide to wear my hijab when I move to Jogja on 2005. At the first time I only covered my hair with short veil that didn’t elongate down to my chest, still worn long pants with blouse or long sleeved t-shirt.

All my short pants collection was thrown away, so even at home I attempted to be a nice one. Since then my kids get used to see me either wearing my pajamas or my house long dress. Once I have to wear short pants at home due to my medical reason the kids stared at me peculiarly.

Thru time I start to like wearing gamis (a long lose gown). Especially of course the one that made from cotton. This morning when I read the book about HALAL & HARAM (ALLOWED & PROHIBITED) by Yusuf Qaradhawi, I just realize that I am still far away beyond the Islam law (syariah)…

Please forgive me ALLAH….

Apparel women in Islam

1. Covering all the body except the one that mentioned in Quran as ordinary things to show such as face and your palm.

"Say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bossoms and not display their beauty except for their husband…"(Surat An-Nur: 31)

2. Not transparent/translucent. Every Islam women are prohibited from wearing transparent or translucent clothes that will reveal the curve of the body. This kind of clothes will also reveal skin color and make people especially men interested in looking at them.

"Two (human type) from Hell experts that I have not seen it now is; people who brought the whip-whip like cows, they hit people with it, and the women who dressed but naked, walking with her shoulders and wiggle waddle , their heads like a camel hump skewed. They will not enter Paradise will not even get a smell, and very fragrant smell of Heaven has trip distance so and so. " (Narrated by Muslim).

3. Not tight and firm. Nowadays a lot of Islam women covering their hair but still they wear a very tight and firm clothes that form the curve of their body. As in hadith said “…they dressed but naked…”

*to be honest I feel so bad if I see this phenomenon because this can give wrong impression about Islam women in front of other believers view*

4. Not wearing apparel that resemble clothes men, in both form and characteristic.

This is prohibited but most of us will be proud if known as tomboy....astagfirullah...
Women have special clothes with all its properties, and men also have special clothing, which distinguishes it from women's clothing. And women are not allowed to resemble men in terms of clothing, appearance and way of walking.
In the hadith mentioned, "Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) has cursed the men who like women and women who resemble men." (Narrated by Al-Bukhari, Saheeh).

Oh Allah please forgives me because I am still wearing my long pants when I do my sport…

5. Not special apparel that design for unbeliever. Deliberateness of wearing apparel like them is prohibited by Islam as Islam has their own characteristic in their performance either in physical or inner beauty mind.
